Blues Solo Lesson: Target Notes Of The IV Chord When Doing A Blues Solo
http://bluesguitarunleashed.com - This video will show you one of the best ways to hit what I call the "money note" when the IV chord comes around in bar 5 of a 12 bar blues pattern.
This technique will work any time you are going from a I to a IV chord such as in an 8 or 16 bar blues, or any other chord progression.
The lick at the end is in a swing feel and uses a passing tone to really bring home the sound of the chord tone on the down beat.
I hope you enjoy the video and get some ideas from it. Constructing your own licks is a good way to build your vocabulary and have something to say in a voice that is uniquely your own.
