The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO sold for $48.4 million, the 1935 Duesenberg SSJ sold for $22 million, and the 1994 McLaren F1 sold for $19.8 million. These cars are incredibly rare and highly sought after by car collectors all over the world. The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO was previously owned by Microsoft executive Greg Whitten. He bought the car in 2000 for only $10 million. The 250 GTO is considered the holy grail of classic cars. The 1935 Duesenberg SSJ was once owned by golden age movie star Gary Cooper. Duesenberg temporarily gifted the car to Cooper for publicity. The SSJ can reach a top speed of 140 mph. The SSJ was also once owned by famous race car driver Briggs Cunningham. He bought the car in 1949 and raced it in the Mojave desert. The 1994 McLaren F1 that sold for $19.8 million is one of only two cars of its kind. The car was modified post-production to meet Le Mans racing specifications. The F1 has an unrestricted 680 horsepower GTR-racing engine with an additional extra high downforce package. Mechanics added a brand new racing steering wheel, modified exhaust system, and 18-inch wheels.
