Portland police charged two men for allegedly damaging the statue of President Abraham Lincoln and toppling the statue of Theodore Roosevelt. According to court documents, police received photographs of a vehicle believed to have been used to topple the statue. The van was linked to chains and straps wrapped around the statue. It was driven forward, causing the Roosevelt statue to fall to the ground.

One of soccer's biggest and richest stars Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for COVID-19, Portugal's Football Federation said in a statement on its website. It added that the rest of the Portuguese squad had undergone tests as a result of Ronaldo's positive result, but that they had all tested negative and would be available for the Sweden match.
