Stuttgart Oktoberfest: Cannstatter Volksfest English Guide

Info & Impressions of the Cannstatter Wasen Volkfest Beer fest for English travelers!
Only second in size to the biggest beer fest in the world - The Munich Oktoberfest (Wiesn) With around 4.2 million visitors the Cannstatter Volksfest beer fest feels just as big as the Oktoberfest. This was filmed on a typical weekday in 2019. For those trying to combine the fest with a vacation in Europe, I'd suggest going to the Fruehlingsfest (Spring Fest) around May each year.
My tips for the fest:
1.Don't skip the big meal before or inside the beertent (I make this mistake every single time)
2. Leave your wallet at home, bring 100-150 EUR in Cash. Once you run out you should really go home
3.Walk through the fest before you get into the tents, chances are you won't leave the tent until the fest shuts down (11pm to midnight)
4. Make a reservation, there are no fees, you just have to purchase food and drink before.
5. Come again next year!

The music is quite typical, some of these "Schlager" party songs will be played over and over in the tent!
