This Drill Will Fix Your Setting

Medicine ball training is one of the most effective ways to improve your setting technique, control, and strength.

In this video, I go through a series of exercises that will help you develop better hands, more precise sets, and stronger, more stable movements on the court.

You’ll see different variations:
standing, sitting, and lying drills
wall exercises
movement-based drills
redirection and control training

The goal is simple:
build proper technique and make your hands more consistent.

A medicine ball is harder to control than a regular volleyball—and that’s exactly why it works.

If you don’t have a medicine ball, you can still do all of these exercises with a regular volleyball.
