Primary Domain Controller (PDC) Setup – Beginner Friendly 🔰

🪜 Set IP: 10.0.0.1 | Subnet: 255.0.0.0 | DNS: 10.0.0.1
🪜 Turn off firewall ##We’re turning off the firewall in this lab to avoid port blocking and ensure smooth communication between virtual machines##

🔥 Firewall ON Issues in VMware:
- Domain join fails
- Ping & RDP not working
- DNS & AD blocked
- Network discovery issues

Turn off firewall in labs for smooth setup.(wf.msc)

🪜 Install ADDS & DNS roles
🪜 Click “Promote this server to a Domain Controller”
🪜Add New Forest – Domain: TCS.com
🪜 Set DSRM password: admin@123
🪜 Complete wizard & restart

Extra Notes:
ADDS – Manage users & devices
DNS – Name to IP resolver
Domain Controller – AD database holder
