Chet Atkins - The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise (Grand Ole Opry)

Another Chet Atkins arrangement from his Opry days. "The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise" is a classic and composed by Ernest Seitz in 1918. The cover that Les Paul and Mary Ford released in 1951 is perhaps the most popular version. Chet performed this song on October 8th in 1960 on the Grand Ole Opry. He recorded it a few years later in 1963 on his twenty-third studio album "Travelin'" and again with Les Paul on their first of two collaboration albums "Chester and Lester" in 1975 (released in 1976).
