How to Make Hydrosol [Rosemary]

In this video you will see how to make your own hydrosol in your own kitchen, with very simple equipment. Today we will do Rosemary Hydrosol, who has so many great benefits.

Ideal for this summer season, to refresh yourself while on the go.
With this simple technique you can make your own favourite hydrosol. That could be lavender, chamomile, rose petal, mint or anything else at all.

Hydrosols are aromatic water that remains after steam-distilling or hydro-distilling botanical material in this case such as rosemary.
Unlike essential oils that should be diluted prior to application to the skin, hydrosols are much gentler and safe to use directly on the skin, without further dilution. Hydrosols can be used in place of water in creating natural fragrances, lotions, creams, facial toners and other skin care products. They can also be added to the bath, and used on their own as a light cologne, body spray as well as a room spray.

Rosemary Hydrosol has a strong herbaceous, woodsy and fresh aroma. It is very energizing, uplifting and refreshing.
Applying rosemary hydrosol to your scalp can actually stimulate hair growth leading to thicker, more luxurious head of hair. It does promotes healthy, shinny hair.
Joint relief and pain relief are another miraculous quality to be found in rosemary hydrosol.
Rosemary on its own is a powerful taste, which is why rosemary hydrosol can be much more palatable. Since rosemary contains disinfecting properties, many people use it as a mouthwash. It can help keep your mouth fresh and clean and become part of your regular oral hygiene routine. Just be sure to not swallow the hydrosol as it does more good in your mouth than in your digestive tract.
