Tempers flare at Moncks Corner town council meeting

Residents of a quiet residential area in Moncks Corner voiced opposition to the construction of an emergency roadway passing through their community. Moncks Corner council voted unanimously to annex property where a lane will be constructed for emergency personnel to access the adjacent subdivision. The lane will be accessible only to emergency personnel, the town says, but residents are skeptical.
