Can I record explosive drum sounds without a 'real' studio??

Let's answer the question. Can I record drums without a conventional recording studio?

Recording drums isn't easy. Recording drums while on location is even harder. Doing all of the above in a room that you haven't heard may just be insanity, especially during the lockdown.
Cables die, things break and then you have to trust it won't fall apart. This is where the Dante enabled Focusrite Red system can come to the rescue.

I travel up to my Sam Kubricks gaff (formerly of the band Shields) to test the system and see if we can't get some incredible drum recordings nailed.
