Eyeshadow Palette? Book? Drama? Storybook Cosmetics Swatches!

I love the concept of this eyeshadow palette so much - but as I'm typing this, I'm finding information that this brand may have some .... issues. Like, scammy issues. So use caution if purchasing this brand (if it's still out there). But this is a new to me palette, and I love it. I'm a baby makeup-lover, I've only been into this since 2021, so I've missed some of the big scandals and drama. But I get a lot of my makeup for free second-hand, so I'm just happy to give it a second home.

I have "light" skin (slight darker than "fair") with cool undertones.

Since late 2021, I have been purchasing only cruelty free brands of makeup and skincare. I may still have products purchased before this decision, and I'm going to use them up, then not repurchase.
