HHS Exceeds Blood Donation Collection Target

Blood donors at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) have surpassed our hospital’s annual donation pledge for the second consecutive year. Staff and physician donors gave 224 units of blood between January and December 2022, exceeding a donation pledge of 175 units.

According to Canada’s Lifeline, each year, over 100,000 new donors are needed to make up for those who can no longer donate.
