Deep research on Fable can use up your Claude Code limits fast. This free mod keeps it in check.

It shows your 5-hour and weekly usage and when each one resets, right under the prompt. Before a deep research prompt runs on Fable, it checks that your 5-hour window is about to reset and your weekly usage is low. If not, it asks first: switch to Sonnet or Opus, keep Fable, or cancel. You choose which models it watches and the thresholds with /limits.

Install it, restart Claude Code, then run /limits:

Needs Claude Code 2.1.288 or later and a Pro or Max plan for the limit numbers. It uses a quick Haiku check to spot deep research prompts. Mods aren't sandboxed, so read the code first. It's all open source (MIT).
