This summer we were on an expedition in Spiti Valley, Northern India. This video is a short overview of the beautiful places we visited.

Spiti Valley from above. Spiti Valley is located high up in Indian Himalayas, specifically in Himachal Pradesh, north India. "Spiti" means: "the middle land" (land between India and Tibet). Most of area is dry and desert-like. It is home for Snow Leopard and Ibex. Life is very tough here - the winter, with enormous amount of snow, lasts up to 8 months. During that period roads are completely shut down - till the spring comes. This makes people leave their houses or stay trapped in them for the whole winter season.
Despite that, people are very humble, friendly and calm there. They treat visitors as good friends and as those who can bring luck.
