Tricky Rick 2 - Game Walkthrough (all levels)

Pump in the fuel and get ready for a nice challenge with this robot. Test your wits in solving puzzles in this game called Tricky Rick. What you must do here is to control Rick the robot and locate the fuel cans. Once you grab one, you must carry it to the exit to complete the level. Some levels also have obstacles and you must use explosive devices to access them. There are also jetpacks that will help Rick the robot fly and reach the higher platforms. And if there are any bad robots blocking your path, always use Rick's skill of throwing his head to stun the enemies.

Overview:

Rick hasn’t gotten any luck after the events of the first game. He was on his way on a journey when his spaceship broke down stranding him on a planet. The good thing is that he can repair his ship but the bad thing is that he needs to gather enough energy capsules to get the job done. He has to do some legwork to gather those capsules and avoid enemies in the process. Let’s help Rick to get him back his ship and go to where he needs to go.

Aesthetics:

Tricky Rick 2 uses the same art style that the first game has. It has a nice cartoon animation which is hand drawn. The game does have some fluent animations as well as good lighting and slight visual effects. You’re even treated to a nice little comic book entry showing how Rick’s ship ended up. The music has that space and techno feel to it which gets you in the mood to play it. The overall aesthetics for the game is pretty much fine for what it is.

Gameplay:

Tricky Rick 2 is a 2D puzzle game. Players control Rick by letting him move around the level. Players can also let Rick jump as well as pick up objects. He can use those objects depending on what they are used for. The objects would vary from a key to unlock areas or disable alarms and laser grids. There are also weapons that Rick can use. Melee weapons are used for attacking enemies or destroying walls. The guns and bombs are used for attacking from a distance. Just as we said, the game is a puzzle game so players have to navigate their way in solving it. The first thing that players need to do is gather the energy capsules. There could be one or more of them but the order of getting them doesn’t really matter. Once they gather the energy capsules, they need to head to the exit. There are different obstacles in each level. We have the walls as we stated but players can destroy them with weapons. There are also the enemy robots that players have to disable. There are some robots that can only be destroyed with a gun. The weaker ones can just be stunned with a melee weapon or by throwing Rick’s head. You would need to pick up the head back otherwise the level can’t be completed. There are also the laser grids and laser alarms. The players have to disable them using a key. The laser alarms as well as the cameras will trigger an alarm. The alarm will run for a couple of seconds and the level will fail. There are also invisibility items that make Rick invisible thus he can’t be seen by the cameras or enemy robots. You also have to watch out for laser grids that can kill Rick in one hit. Once you gather enough energy capsules a part of his ship will appear.
