This song was written in 1993 and first released on Noels album "Warrior" released in 1994. It was written when Noel was worship leader for Cobham Christian Fellowship, and while he and his wife Tricia struggled with finishing the song, their church leader - Gerald Coates - came up with the missing lines.

This particular version appeared on the compilation "New Songs 94/95 - Volume 1" released by Kingsway music. As such, I assume it was performed by session musicians.
