Jennifer Aniston’s high school drama teacher has had Alzheimer’s since 2012. He doesn’t remember teaching anymore and doesn’t remember her either. Yet she calls him every single day. For 12 years straight — 4,380 calls.

Each time she introduces herself the same way:

“Hi Mr. Stevens, it’s Jenny from 1987.”

He asks the same questions again and again. She answers patiently every time. Staff at the care facility recorded one of the calls, and it went viral in 2024. Aniston said, “He believed in me when nobody else did. I won’t let him be alone.”
