2012 highlights : rob & kristen

2012 in two words: overwhelming feels

As you can see in this vid, the first part is like the ~happy moments before what happened in July, and the second part is the ~sad moments and the joy that came after. The first part is organized according to the time when the events took place and the second part, well, the second part is all over the place. Simple reason? It reflects my emotions and the fandom's feelings during that time.

I don't like labeling, but we have had good moments and bad moments in 2012 just like every year, and I think what we call ~bad has actually opened our eyes to two things:
(a) we're too invested
(b) we don't know anything
As much as we try to assume and take from what they tell us, we don't know who they really are and what exactly happened. I feel like (and i repeat) this whole thing have been tremendously blown out of proportion. I, as a fan, have moved on and I get irritated when I see people from outside the fandom and in it, who are just stuck there. Filled with denial and ignorance. Not to mention the tabloids and the shit they caused and still cause. OR the paparazzi and what they say to both Rob and Kristen. It just breaks my heart.

Now to look at the positive side, so many wonderful things happened in 2012 and they most definitely overpower the horrid.
The first most important highlight was Cannes. It was so lovely, so overwhelmingly fascinating for them even more than for us.
Then all the crap happened and what came after it was, in my honest opinion, better than Cannes.
We didn't just see Rob and Kristen in October, we saw how strong they are. How much Rob loves Kristen no matter what and he's not afraid to show it. They're willing to do whatever it takes to make it work, because what they have is special and they know it.
Continuing with November and the BDP2 promo, how they looked at eachother with so much adoration. Because the looks show more than any touch or whisper. Looks show what you really have inside your mind and heart. They appreciate eachother even more now, they are not afraid to show it or willing to hide it. Now they can make it through anything.
Ending with December, it has been calm but reassuring. I look forward to their work this year and to see them glow.

I hope you have a great 2013, and I hope all your dreams will come true. I know this ship will be sailing till the end, and I'm here to stay, because I never gave up on them just like they never gave up on what they have. Enjoy.
