Nuremberg Moot Court – Finals 2019
The teams of the National University of Singapore, Singapore, and Birzeit University, Palestine, pleading in the finals of the Nuremberg Moot Court 2019 at historic Courtroom 600 in the Nuremberg Palace of Justice. The Nuremberg Moot Court 2019 took place from 24 to 27 July 2019.
The annual Nuremberg Moot Court invites participants from across the globe to argue a fictitious international criminal law case before the "International Criminal Court". Dissecting both complex procedural and substantive issues of international criminal law, students are given the opportunity to apply and develop their skills and moot inside the iconic Courtroom 600. The unique location of Nuremberg allows students to practice international criminal law at its very birthplace, offering a historical educational experience. The organizers – the International Nuremberg Principles Academy and the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg - coordinate with highly esteemed professionals in the field, such as judges, academics and other practitioners, to sit on the moot court panels.
The language of the Court is English. The finalists of the competition 2019 were the teams from the National University of Singapore, Singapore, and from Birzeit University, Palestine.
