CUSCO, PERU - I loved visiting Cusco, Peru. It’s a city of amazing history and culture, and high elevation. The air is so fresh, the markets are vibrant, there’s delicious food, and it’s just beautiful. Plaza De Armas - This is the center square and landmark of Cusco, an amazing area to walk around and just to enjoy life. The two major churches are the Church of the Society of Jesus and the Cathedral of Cusco.

El Samaritano Restaurant - For dinner, we went over to a small local Peruvian food restaurant just around the corner from our hotel. I ordered the lomo saltado, stir fried beef with potatoes. Lomo saltado - Price - 3.5 PEN ($1.05)
