Response to Tom's Hardware's Insane "Just Buy It" Post [RTX 2080]
Tom's Hardware published an article of herculean stupidity that pertained to the idea of pre-ordering based on nothing more than promises.

We're still not sure what Tom's Hardware was going for with its "Just Buy It" article (https://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-rtx-gpus-worth-the-money,37689.html), but we figured we'd do our best to interpret and respond to the piece. The Tom's article is referencing pricing concerns from users relating to the new NVIDIA RTX video cards, including the RTX 2070, RTX 2080, and RTX 2080 Ti, which have higher prices relative to previous same-name products. We're not saying to buy or not buy the RTX cards (unlike Tom's), but are commenting on the actual insanity contained within the Tom's Hardware article by their for-now Editor-in-Chief.

Links to Amazon and Newegg are typically monetized on our channel (affiliate links) and may return a commission of sales to us from the retailer. This is unrelated to the product manufacturer. Any advertisements or sponsorships are disclosed within the video ("this video is brought to you by") and above the fold in the description. We do not ever produce paid content or "sponsored content" (meaning that the content is our idea and is not funded externally aside from whatever ad placement is in the beginning) and we do not ever charge manufacturers for coverage.
