How Oxford-AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine work - Adenovirus vector vaccine mechanism of action

In this video, Dr. Aizaz from MedicoVisual talks about mechanism of action of Adenovirus Vector Based DNA vaccine against Coronavirus (Sars-CoV-2) like Oxford-AstaraZeneca's (ChAdOx1 nCoV19 or AZD1222), Gamaleya's Sputnik 5, CanSino' Biologics's adenovirus type-5 (Ad5)-vectored COVID-19 vaccine, Johnson and Johnson's vaccine.
These vaccines use Adenovirus vector to transport the double stranded DNA gene of Sars-CoV-2's spike protein into the cells thus train the immune system to fight against the actual virus.
Adenoviruses are the etiological agents of common cold in human and are widely prevalent. Chimpanzee's Adenovirus or less common strains of human adenovirus are used in order to mitigate the problem of immunity against the vector itself. Furthermore, the adenovirus is modified in such a way so as to render it replication incompetent and non-infectious. E1 and E3 genes are deleted.
