1965 HITS ARCHIVE: Red Roses For A Blue Lady - Vic Dana

Red Roses For A Blue Lady (Tepper-Brodsky) by Vic Dana, arranged by Ernie Freeman, produced by Dick Glasser

No fewer than three updated versions of this 1949 Vaughn Monroe hit enjoyed success in ’65. First-released was the Bert Kaempfert instrumental, followed by the equally-popular Vic Dana vocal, and a bit further back was the Wayne Newton version (all three are included in this 1965 collection).

Billboard Pop Chart Peak: 10
