Incredible Take Off Engine Sound Boeing 777-300ER on Cathay Pacific

Watch this Cathay Boeing 777-300ER roar out of Hong Kong International Airport on its way to Dubai. Powered by GE90-115B engines — the most powerful jet engines in commercial aviation — this beast needed a much longer roll than usual, finally rotating at about 330 km/h (205 mph). That’s significantly longer than what I’ve clocked on the A380, A350, and 737, making this takeoff speed tracking on my gps speedometer one of the most intense I’ve filmed. However, take off speeds will definitely vary from aircraft to another due to weight, weather conditions, and other metrics.
