Endoactivator vs. Endochuck vs. Endosonic PEEK vs. PIPS / Fotona Laser vs. VDW Eddy

ACTIVATE SUBTITLES! In this video you see a simple comparision between different means to activate endodontic solutions. In order of appearance: Endoactivator, Endosonore Ultrasonic Tip (Endochuck), Endosonic PEEK Ultrasonic Tip, PIPS 400 Tip at 0.3W, Fotona 600 Varian Tip at 0.3W, Fotona 600 Varian Tip at 0.5W, VDW Eddy. This setup is clinically completely unrealistic , but showes some interesting effects on the water and phoshoric acid (test medium or "pulp analog"). Together with the former videos, I wanted to show the different effects of decreasing "space" of liquid to interact with the devices. Ultrasonic for example has a minimal amplitude, whereas EDDY has a huge amplitude. But like pointed out before, no tooth or root canal is that huge, that is why I decreased the volume gradually. In the next video, I proceeded in reducing the volume even further and coming closer to a root canal analog in size and configuration. I tried to reproduce the models made by Holm Reuver and Oscar von Stetten, but was not able to do so. For that reason I picked something I had in my office: Thermafil Training Bloc. It has a main root canal of the size ISO 25 and two additional lateral canals. I "glued" them together with Clip Flow facing each other and filled the entire "system" with phosphoric acid.
