Lionesses left hungry after two Impalas outran them failed attempt. Amazing chase 13 June 2020

Today was just amazing as we saw these two lionesses very far down the river and suddenly they popped up and focused on the Impalas. Working together Hennie and Bernhard made a simultaneous video of the action with two different cameras and lenses. This gives you a pretty good idea of what was going on.

The chase was unreal and for any photographer, this is truly the moment you wait for hours while in the bush and to see it happening in your lens that is just so rewarding.

This clip was seen at the High-level bridge over the Sabie River in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
