Saxophone (Questionable) Repair Topic: Straightening a rod pt. II

Saxophone repairman Matt Stohrer of http://www.StohrerMusic.com is just like why the hell not? in this latest installment of his saxophone videos wherein he shares a completely non-standard method of straightening saxophone rods (aka Hinge Rods) and (omg!) even the threaded portion of rods in relation to the rod.

Proceed at your own risk. For whatever reason, this works for Matt, but its not something he learned from anyone. Especially proceed at your own risk with the portion talking about straightening threads relative to the rods- that is a dicey operation at the best of times.
