The Longest Day (1962) Normandy locations 2016 HD
We visited Normandy D-Day locations at Pointe du Hoc, Longues-sur-Mer (Pluskat's battery), Sword Beach, Lord Lovat Memorial, Piper Bill Millin statue, Pegasus Bridge and Omaha Beach Dog Green Sector on 23 May 2016 with Battlefield Guide Allan Bryson.
I have juxtaposed scenes from the Longest Day with the actual locations.
Hans Christian Blech as Major Werner Pluskat, Peter Lawford as Lord Lovat, Bill Millin, Richard Todd as Major John Howard and Robert Mitchum as General Norman Cota.
