Hill up after plants reach 12 inches tall
Prefer acidic soil 5-6 ph
They grow underground
Mulch with leaves
Do not fertilize with too much nitrogen.
Harvest Time mid August
Start seeds March 1st after frost freeze dates in zone 9b south texas

I planted the seedlings today April 8-2025 using 1 whole bag of coast of Maine acidic soil mix. I mixed in about 3 big handfuls for each hole Planted each peanut seedling about 3 inches deep. I dug out along the sides in the row and added the rest of the bag. Mulched with leaves, watered in well.
