Mokwa Flood Crisis: Recovery Efforts and Community Challenges

Following the devastating floods in Mokwa Local Government Area, over 200 bodies have been recovered, as confirmed by Niger State's Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Ahmad Suleiman. Recovery efforts continue, but the full casualty figure is still unknown. The Niger State Government has activated emergency response measures and is distributing relief materials to displaced victims seeking shelter in makeshift camps. However, victims' frustration regarding poor living conditions and inadequate food supplies persists.
