Heaven openned up but was restrained by God's own will as prophesied in the bible. Spilling blood of Jesus as atonement/sacrifice/redemption for humans to conquer satan, sin and death as foretold in the Old and New Testament for humans to be reunited with God in heaven/paradise again through God's Grace and HOLY SPIRIT.

The Roman centurion said.

The only way to God in heaven/paradise is through Jesus Christ.
