A Detailed Guide to Solve Epson Printhead Lock Malfunction & Unlock Cartridge Carriage Cradle

Many of Epson printer's errors can be caused by a malfunctioning printhead lock. The lock prevents the printhead carriage from moving to the left. If a spring is loose, the printhead will display either "paper jam", or "cartridge door open" errors. We showed how the printhead lock works and how to test it. We also showed how to install a new one if necessary.
