Ravel at the piano playing his composition "Pavane pour une infante défunte"/"Pavane for a Dead Princess" in 1922. It was imprinted onto a piano roll, and then long after his death it was played back and recorded, which is why the sound is so clear. The tempo and dynamics were not altered in this process. Of course we cannot know what happened on the day that he performed it, but for those suggesting that he did not play it, or that he played it differently, you would be wrong.
