Coach Javier Mendez was at the UFC Apex this weekend, where he watched his rising contender Islam Makhachev maul Thiago Moises. Hats off to Moises for accepting the Challenge, now Islam Makhachev is looking for a fight in the top 10 preferably in the top 5. Coach has seen his fighter now go on to an 8 fight win streak in the UFC, and now he is in the top ten looking for the fight that will open the doors to a title fight. Islam through out a few names post fight like Tony Ferguson, Michael Chandler, and Raphael Dos Anjos. Yet Dana white seems to think that it would be a great fight between Islam and Beniel Dariush. It is all about timing now. Javier describes how he looked at the fight from cage side, and talks about the fight strategy including fathers plan.
