Lars Gullin - first live footage on Youtube

Lars Gullin with Nils Lindberg and Rolf Billberg.
There's very little livefootage avaiable with Lars Gullin, this, to my mind, greatest jazz-barytone player ever. This is from a portrait of Lars Gullin by Swedish television.
See/listen to the whole piece here: http://youtu.be/hcC9aN338PI
- Translation of what Nils Lindberg (the composer and arranger of the piece, and the piano player on the recording) is saying (loosely translated):
"And then, on the morning of the recording, when we're ready to start, [altoist] Rolf Billberg comes to me and tells me, "you know, Lasse isn't well at all. He's in hospital, being injected with vitamins and such". [Due to serious substance abuse problems, Gullin was very ill at the time].
The conductor didn't know about any of this, and we were just praying that [Gullin] would be there eventually. So they started rehearsing with the orchestra, and then, after a couple of minutes of playing, Lasse suddenly shows up, unpacks his horn, and when the time comes for his entrance, I point to him, he stands up, and it just sounded absolutely marvelous."
"He creates a continuation of the composed music. If you gave some music to him, he would instantly [in his improvisation] create a whole new composition on top of what you had written, without reverting to cliches, and that's something only the very few can do."
