Elephant Rumbles to start the day!
What better way to start a morning, than to the gentle and soothing rumbles of elephants?
Listen to the soulful sounds as the love from her new family surrounds Khanyisa in so many ways.
Both Herman and Reply gave her a bottle while out on the reserve. Adine makes sure that Reply always stands close to Herman as the elephants are not as familiar with him as he is a junior carer, versus Herman which they know quite well.
Timisa and Tokwe were very curious to know what was happening and to ensure Khanyisa was safe. She drank her milk quickly and then went about her way with the herd again. She has taken well to this new routine and longer mornings in the wild.
A few of the herd walked Khanyisa back to the orphanage before returning to the reserve to enjoy the rest of their days foraging.
