SHROOMKNOT: Slipknot vs. Mushroomhead Revisited

Today, we take a look back at the ridiculous feud from the late 1990's throughout the 2000's: the battle between Des Moines, IA's Slipknot and Cleveland, OH's Mushroomhead and the debacle that happened on September 11, 1999 in Cleveland on the Livin' La Vida Loco tour featuring Coal Chamber, Machine Head, Slipknot, and Amen.

The Cleveland incident could have likely been prevented though, had Coal Chamber not been kicked off of Insane Clown Posse's (ICP) Amazing Jeckel Brothers Tour that also featured Twiztid, Biohazard, Krayzie Bone from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and Mindless Self Indulgence (MSI). The Coal Chamber vs. ICP battle played out in 1999 live on The Howard Stern Show and featured both Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope from ICP, and Coal Chamber's then manager, the one and only Sharon Osbourne.

The feud would finally reach it's conclusion upon the death of Slipknot bassist Paul Gray in 2010.
