OCEAN SAILING | 1200 miles from home | Sailing Florence Ep.168

Suddenly losing your instruments is not what you want to happen hundreds of miles out to sea. This year has been unprecedented for the number of summer STORMS rolling across the North Atlantic Ocean. We have been waiting for months in the Azores to find a gap between those storms, big enough to sail Florence 1200 miles across the open ocean, home to England. Finally we THINK we have found one. But the weather in the North Atlantic ocean is unpredictable, on top of that we face a systems failure which requires hours to fix whilst being bounced around by the ocean swells.

We have been sailing around the world for 7 years after setting off from England in 2016 on board our 37ft sail boat Florence. Join us as we share the highs, lows, and challenges of travelling around the world by boat, Sailing offshore across the Oceans and exploring remote locations with our own little tiny house. Boat life out at sea on the ocean and off the grid.
