The one shot we’ll be look at is the Tomato Girl Detective manga, about the 18 year old Girl Detective Tomato Akai as she saves the day by stopping the criminal, Kenta Kuraaku. Tomato Girl Detective launched Toriyama’s early rise in success and he proceeded with making the Dr Slump manga later on, as Tomato can be considered the precursor to Arale.
