Gaza farmer raises livestock on his roof after his farmland was destroyed

Palestinian livestock trader Hamid Salih is forced to rear his animals on the roof of his home, after Israeli attacks destroyed his farmland.

Farming was a vital part of Gaza’s economy before Israel's genocidal war, with Gaza’s Food and Agriculture Organization saying over 40% of the enclave’s land was used for crops, orchards and livestock.
