NYU Steinhardt Jazz Interview Series with Dr. David Schroeder interviews legendary vibraphonist, composer, bandleader and producer Mike Mainieri for a follow-up interview to discuss the second chapter in his long career in music focusing on his work from the late 60s and 70s onward including his producing and recording careers, his various fusion groups including the White Elephant Orchestra, Steps Ahead and his work with such artists as Don Grolnick, Warren Bernhardt, Eliane Elias, Steve Gadd, Eddie Gomez and Michael Brecker, to name a few.
