Did you really think I was done with Killing Eve videos?!

This video is for Roman, who came to me with this idea. As soon as this song and fandom were mentioned in the same sentence, I just knew I had to make it.

I went through a couple drafts and a lot of ideas (there's just a lot to work with, with Eve, with Carolyn, with Villanelle...). In the end, I decided to focus on Villanelle, who truly encompassed the song. Eve and Carolyn, while having really intriguing and sad storylines, already had a home (only for it to be ripped apart). Villanelle never did and she desperately wanted to fit in somewhere. She saw Konstantin as a father figure, only to feel betrayed by him in the end. She searched for her family, found them, tried so hard to be a part of their lives, only to essentially be rejected and unwanted. Now, hopefully, she's found a family in Eve.

This video simultaneous is a lot more and less (somehow both) depressing than I originally imagined. The way it starts out hopeful, scared, desperate, then to Villanelle finding a home but feeling something is off, to being heartbroken at the end... Oof. My feelings are out of control. I tried to keep the voiceovers minimal to focus on the track and the emotions, but as per usual, I couldn't resist.
