Live: Volcano eruption continues on La Palma in Spain's Canary Islands
Live from La Palma in Spain's Canary Islands as lava streams continue to flow toward the sea. There were a series of 21 seismic movements on Sunday, with the largest measuring 3.8, the Spanish National Geological Institute said. Since the volcano eruption began on September 19, the lava from the volcano has engulfed more than 1,180 buildings and over 490 hectares of farmland, most of which is used to cultivate bananas, one of the main crops on the island.
