The Ultimate Work Truck | EP1 Solar Charging and Power Tool Storage

Sometimes I build houses and sometimes I make furniture, so I wanted a “maker” version of a work truck that meets my specific needs. I am doing some off grid builds out in the Joshua tree area so solar panels to keep my battery powered tools charged without having to fire up a generator is a nice convenience. I installed a Decked Truck Storage system in the bed which gives me two big drawers to store equipment. I did a completely DIY solar panel install to create a solar powered charging station. I used a GoalZero solar panel and Yeti 1400 power pack which are just plug and play. This will be the first in a series of videos so let me know what products and truck mods you find useful for your work.
