Today's video is an unboxing of my newly purchased studio headphones, the HPH-MT8's from Yamaha.

This is not a sponsored video, just my initial thoughts on the build and sound quality, as well as the noise isolation characteristics during tracking. I will mainly be using these during recording sessions, so this is fairly high on my list of reasons for choosing a set of headphones.

They are a closed-back design, weigh 350g with the dimensions:
W161 x H214 x D89mm

Included are two cables, one straight cable of 3.0m and a coiled cable of 1.2m in length. Also included are a soft carry case and 6.3mm threaded adaptor.
