It means being able to understand, question, and interpret data — enough to make smarter decisions, and faster. Once upon a time, in the early 2000s, when I started my leadership journey, leadership was often about gut instinct. Now it’s about gut instinct plus insight. Because today, everything — from customer behaviour to team performance — leaves a data trail. If you're not looking at that trail… you're guessing in the dark.
