Using a Lego motor to fast scroll a gaming mouse

I used a small Lego rubber tire to spin the scroll wheel on my gaming mouse, and I try different gear ratios to see how fast it will spin. Using a 9:1 ratio gives a scroll speed of 2 meters per second. Using a 36:1 gear ratio gives a scroll speed of about 2.2 meters/second, but it actually slowed down to 1.8 meters per second. The sweet spot for gear ratios is somewhere in between, so I have to do more trials to find it. I used the 100-meter scroll for the tests.
