Constantine 2: The Darkest Sequel Yet? Keanu Reeves Returns for an R-Rated Hellride!

It’s been almost three years since Warner Bros. announced the sequel to the cult classic Constantine. A lot has changed since then, including the leadership at DC Studios, but the project is still in development. Director Francis Lawrence recently shared that filming for the second installment is "closer than ever." According to him, production is moving full speed ahead, and with Keanu Reeves on board, both are incredibly excited. Lawrence is expected to return as director, with Akiva Goldsman writing the script. Unlike the first film, which was limited to a PG-13 rating, Lawrence plans to make Constantine 2 a true R-rated experience—darker, grittier, and more intense, as originally envisioned. Also, to mark the 20th anniversary of the original, Constantine will be released in 4K Ultra HD on February 18. So, this character’s return promises to be not only long-awaited but also visually spectacular!
