Chiriqui Mall is located approx. between David and La Concepcion on the south side right next to PanAmerican Highway next to Price Mart(=Costco) on the same side of the street. Have been trying to get an appointment with the US Embassy/Consulate to get the Panamanian Driver's License by "transfer" with your current one without taking the tests in Panama City? Attempting to get an appointment during early morning, during different times of the day, evening, and even at night time.......? Good luck. (somehow the appointment times just seem to get filled even though one cannot get through online- hmm.....). Take the written test and the driving test directly at Sertracen Offices throughout Panama and get your Panamanian Driver's License.

Steps to take:
1.) Get your blood test in any Sertracen approved medical clinique- cost $5,-
2.) Get your certificate from any Sertracen approved Driving School- cost of mandatory learning book either in Spanish or in English- $70,- (you'll get the learning book with you and the certificate will be ordered from Panama City where it will be registered to the Gov't central registry- takes about 2 weeks to get it back)
3.) With your blood type test and certificate, you can go to the Sertracen office to take your written and driving test- cost $40,-

Please remember to practice the written test. You can translate the 133 questions upfront with Google to English, then practice same questions in Spanish to make sure you'll have it under control. Practice as long as you feel confident. Ask in the Sertracen Office to take the test in English.
