Follow Path Constraint - Waving Hand

In this video, you'll learn how to setup the follow path constraint in Rive. The follow path constraint can be used to move an object along a path/custom shape.

The follow path constraint allows you to constraint an object to any procedural shape, custom shapes be it open or closed. To put it simply, you can control the motion path (to not be confused with the actual motion path) of an object with percent values.

The constraint allows to you change the distance to move between the start and the end of the target. You can set custom strength, add offset from the origin and control the orientation along the target. In this video, we cover it all.
